Q: Is Detox Organics Gluten Free?

Detox Organics does not meet the guidelines to be considered gluten free. However we feel our product is Gluten friendly

The Science Behind It:
Let’s start off with why wheatgrass is actually gluten-free. The plant, wheat, from which wheatgrass is harvested from, is actually, in it’s pure form, gluten free. It is because it is harvested before it produces the seeds where the gluten is found. Now, we choose to work with organic, non-GMO products which are less predictable and less controlled than mainstream, altered, plants, but we always want to deliver only the very best ingredients to our customers. Sometimes, just a few plants mature faster before they are harvested, so the seeds form along with gluten, at a miniscule level, but nevertheless the result is no longer gluten-free.

The FDA understands this so they have allowed for 20 parts of gluten per billion parts of product in order to still be labeled “gluten free” On the last batch of Detox Organics, nature took its course and the result is that our test results showed 21 parts per billion over the threshold to be labeled “gluten free”. Even though it is barely traceable, we always stand by being transparent with our community.

Q: What if I don't like the taste?

Almost every green superfoods drink tastes like grass, and that’s why we spent a full year perfecting Detox Organics. There was absolutely no way we were going to allow the taste to be the limiting factor. We can assure you it’s the very best tasting superfoods on the market — if you love chocolate of course. But who doesn't love chocolate? :-)

Q: Do you use any artificial flavors or sweeteners?

We do not use any artificial flavors or sweeteners, meaning that when you use Detox Organics, you know you are consuming the purest and cleanest formula possible. In fact, we have gone above and beyond to get our product certified USDA Organic, which is a very lengthy and costly endeavor. We have left no stone unturned, we do not compromise — period!

Q: How many tubs should I purchase?

Detox Organics can be used both during training and also on non-training days. Be sure to buy enough tubs to enjoy the supplement at least 1 time per day, and for the health nuts consume twice per day.

With the above in mind, we suggest 2 tubs. And for families, 3-4 tubs so that everyone (even the kids) can enjoy these delicious chocolaty superfoods. Mix them with almond milk and your kids will think it’s chocolate milk, serious.

Q: How often and when should I take Detox Organics?

For maximum benefits Detox Organics should be used 1-2 times daily. You can mix it with your favorite beverage or shake. Remember to be conscious of the calories if your goal is fat loss. We recommend just water (remember it tastes like chocolate), or almond, coconut, cashew milk. Feel free to use Detox Organics anytime throughout the day, although morning is optimal. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate.

Q: Doesn't your body naturally detox it’s own?

Yes, your body does a certain amount of detoxing on its own. But in today's world, we are exposed to thousands of toxins every single day. Yes, it’s in the thousands. They are everywhere, pollution in the air, in cleaning supplies, your beauty care products and even in your foods. So although you're constantly detoxing, supplements are a good way to promote and enhance what’s already going on under the hood.

Whether you eat the purest of pure diets, or you live on pizza, beer, and ice cream, your body never stops detoxification. As long as you have a functioning liver, kidney, and colon, your body is always removing toxins.

When we refer to “detox” here using Detox Organics, we are specifically referring to reducing the consumption of toxic or unhealthy substances through a change in diet, recognizing that you aren’t necessarily “starting up detoxification”, rather you are supporting it, making the process more efficient.

Q: Will Detox Organics help me lose weight?

By itself, no. And neither will any of the other detoxing supplements. You need to combine Detox Organics with a whole foods diet to really drop body fat. It will work to eliminate bloat and help you become regular. In the past, we have tested the custom meal plans created by Morellifit, and have found nothing to work better for fat loss. Q. Can I use Detox Organics as a meal replacement?

We hate that word because there is no such thing as replacing a meal with a supplement. Supplements are supposed to be used in conjunction with a whole foods diet. If you are in a hurry, or in extreme situations only, feel free to use it in such a way. It’s certainly better than not eating. If your nutrition is solid throughout the day and you would like to use Detox Organics to put yourself in a caloric deficit (especially good for fat loss), it’s to occasionally use it in place of a meal. We highly advise against doing this everyday.

Q: Will Detox Organics really give me more energy?

Yes. However, diet and lifestyle also play a huge role here. If you are eating a primarily whole foods diet, and exercising (doesn’t matter what kind) at least 3 times per week, you can expect to see an increase in energy from Detox Organics.

Q: Will Detox Organics fix my digestive issues?

There are a lot of factors that play a role with digestive issues, everything from the prescription meds that you may be taking, to the foods you eat. Certainly, Detox Organics will help immensely, however, if you’re eating a diet consisting of heavily processed foods and grains it will be tough for a supplement to work the way you need in order to feel your best.

Q. Do I have to eat greens if I take Detox Organics?

Haha, this one always cracks us up! Yes. However, this plant-based superfood is unreal for those who hate greens. Bottom line: do your best to get your greens in, and take this twice per day if greens are a tough proposition for you. Detox Organics are especially great for kids who hate greens. It’s almost impossible to get some kids to even touch them. Add Detox Organics to some almond milk and watch the magic happen!

Q: What does it mean to detox?

Detoxing refers to the process your body goes through when it expels toxins once you are no longer bombarding your system with toxic substances. Toxic substances may include certain food ingredients (refined sugar, refined wheat, alcohol) and chemicals (pesticides, fungicides, food colorings, MSG), from the air you breathe to the foods you consume they are everywhere and your body needs all the help it can get to fight them off.

Q: How will I know when I am detoxing?

When you do a cleanse, your body supposedly releases these built up toxins all at once, causing a host of unpleasant symptoms referred to as “detox”.
